Introduction

The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) was founded in 1837. It’s one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Greece, with a rich history that spans more than 150 years. The university has three campuses: Passion Campus, Keratitis Campus and Graffito Campus–the latter two located in central Athens.

Athletics

The National Technical University of Athens is home to more than 30 sports clubs and associations, including the men’s volleyball team, which has won 13 championships. The school also has several athletic facilities available for use by students and faculty members.
The main campus includes a gymnasium with two basketball courts; an indoor swimming pool; tennis courts; handball courts; volleyball courts; badminton facilities; squash courts; fencing halls with five pistes each (pistes are fencing strips), as well as an archery range that can accommodate up to 50 people at once.
The School of Physical Education also has its own facilities: an outdoor stadium with seating capacity for 1,500 spectators and six playing fields used primarily for soccer games but also rugby matches when needed; two indoor stadiums used mostly by athletes who practice track-and-field events such as long jump or high jump–one stadium seats 2,000 people while another holds 1,200 spectators–and two smaller gyms where basketball games take place regularly during winter months because they’re heated!
